37Th India Supper Night

The India Canada Association of Saskatchewan (ICA) is hosting the 37th India Supper Night at 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina. This year’s recipient charity is THE CARING PLACE, a non-profit organization that provides support for mental health and addiction counselling to more than 5,000 people each year — helping them find their way back to a place of purpose, passion and joy!

The tickets are $125 each and qualifies for a $65 charitable tax receipt. The corporate table of 8 people are just $950. The corporate table will receive recognition on the India Supper Night brochure and the gala slide show.

The Caring Place is the winner of the 2019 Consumer Choice Award in Counselling — a real honour for a charity. Funds raised through this ICA dinner will go toward a new Capital Campaign to build a “House of Caring” which will house counselling, addiction support, depression and anxiety support groups, Expressive Art Therapy and Healing Circles.

Join us for a fun-filled evening celebrating 37 years of East India cuisine, community and culture in Regina. We look forward to your support at the launching of the community build of “The House that Caring Built”. This house will be a haven of hope for thousands of people every year who are broken by grief, depression, fear and prejudice, by providing safe, respectful professional counselling, group classes, talking circles and art therapy that will help them realize hope and discover their personal dreams.

The ICA has selflessly supported various charities for more than three decades through its India Supper Night. Over the last 36 years, we have raised nearly $1,000,000 for local and international charities. Some of these include The Red Cross, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, UNICEF, Hospitals of Regina Foundation, Canadian Mental Health Association, Autism Resources and more. The organization also funds a scholarship for students administered by the University of Regina.
