Classical Fusion Dance

Please be reminded that ICA will be hosting an East Indian classical fusion dance and music by three internationally acclaimed artists from Montreal and Toronto on Sunday, September 18 at Royal Saskatchewan Museum Theatre (Intersection of College avenue & Albert street) at 7:00 pm.

The event will be a collaboration of East Indian Classical Dance, Music and Syllables to entertain and elevate the audience. The show will start off with a duo of Odissi and Kathak (Dance) showcasing the unique blending of these two forms in terms of choreography, music and costumes. It will be a fast paced dance supported by energetic music, and rythms. This piece as well as the other pieces will take the audience to a different level of understanding of music and dance.

The show will witness dance, chant poetries, communication among artists and to the audience, all of that to create an interesting and meaningful dialogue, where gradually the audience gets actively involved.
