Ishra Puppet Dance Theatre visits Regina as part of Year of India in Canada

MEDIA ADVISORY : Ishra Puppet Dance Theatre of the World visits Regina as part of Year of India in Canada

This week, Reginans will have the rare opportunity to experience the world renowned Ishra Puppet Dance Theatre from India as it stops here as part of a massive global tour. The company is touring with eight dynamic dancers presenting "Transposition", based on a story by Vetalapanchcavinasati and Thomas Mann's "Transposed Heads" by Rashna Imhasli Gandhy.

The unique troupe comes to Regina with glowing reviews of recent performances in Montreal and Toronto.

This event is part of the Year of India in Canada 2011 series and hosted by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, India Canada Association of Saskatchewan, and the Regina Public Library.
